E Share Systems contacted us to build a web site through which they could sell tuxedos directly to consumers. Our strategic consulting suggested it would be more profitable to create a directory that consumers could search to find tuxedo shops in their area. These shops could then purchase adverting on the directory.
The result was Cometo.us, a comprehensive directory that expanded to include bridal shops and limousine rental agencies along with tuxedo shops. We provided a full search engine optimization package which included our City/State program, generating a unique page for each zip code in the United States, resulting in approximately 43,000 unique pages. We integrated the site with the DMOZ Open Directory Project along with RSS and XML feeds so that the Cometo.us directory automatically updates itself, ensuring that its listings remain current.
