Here at CommonPlaces we place a high value on balancing work and personal life. Every year we try to host at least one family outing. It gives us all a chance to let loose, have fun, and meet the people most important to our teammates!
This year we all got together on a warm, sunny Friday night, to watch the NH Fisher Cats (Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) take on the Portland Sea Dogs (a Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox). We are very fortunate to have a great stadium (Northeast Delta Dental Stadium) within walking distance of our office location. We haven't been to a game for a few years now so felt like it was time! It was so great to meet everyone’s significant others as well as all of the super cute kids who provided almost as much entertainment as the ballgame. From beers, to hot dogs and burgers, to homeruns, bounce houses and fireworks, a great time was had by all! To top of the night, the Fisher Cats pulled through with a win, with a final score of 7 to 4.
Company culture is extrememly important to us here at CommonPlaces. We're always looking for new and fun things to do as a team, whether it be inside or outside of the office. Next on the list, we will have to start planning a winter gathering since we all had such a blast at this one. We'd love to hear your favorite team outing ideas!
