Business NH Magazine selected CommonPlaces as part of its annual competition.

Hampstead, NH, December 6, 2011 – Business New Hampshire Magazine has named CommonPlaces e-Solutions one of the top twenty places to work in New Hampshire. For the fifteenth year, Business NH Magazine selected companies whose employees have pride in their work, great benefits, and take part in a unique corporate culture. For web design and development firm CommonPlaces e-Solutions, 2011 marks its inaugural year on this impressive list.

Spread over multiple rounds of judging, the rigorous selection process consisted of a lengthy questionnaire, employee testimonials, an office tour, a face-to-face employee focus group, and an interview with CommonPlaces’ President and CEO, Ben Bassi. CommonPlaces stood out because of its flexible and open work environment, flat organizational structure, and the role of employees in decision making processes. The company’s commitment to a positive work/life balance was also noted. CommonPlaces offers a highly flexible schedule, allowing employees to start their work day at a time that best suits their family’s needs, as well as the option to enjoy every other Friday off.

‘We’ve received several generous awards for our work, but it’s humbling to be recognized for who we are as a company,’ said Bassi. ‘Each CommonPlaces team member works hard every day, and it’s this dedication that makes our company not only successful, but a fun and rewarding place to work. We all play a part in advancing CommonPlaces, and I’m committed to providing an environment that continues to foster teamwork, growth, and a sense of enjoyment.’

Georgia King, CommonPlaces’ Project Manager and Usability Specialist, stated, ‘I’m proud to work for a boss who genuinely cares about his employees. CommonPlaces is a fast-paced work environment with a lot of variety in the projects we get to work on. This makes every day a new challenge and adventure. It’s never boring. Each team member’s opinion is valued and we often consult each other for specialized expertise. I commute an hour each way just to work for CommonPlaces, because it is by far the best place to work in NH.’
