Last week, CommonPlaces was recognized with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Interactive Media Council for our work on Twolia.com. You can see the award here. Twolia was recognized in the Music Category of the Interactive Media Awards.

Twolia was recognized with this award for excellence in the following categories: design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance, and content. Here's a little bit of info about the IMA: "The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. Sponsored by the Interactive Media Council, Inc., a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition seeks to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet." We're all very happy to have won this award, and it is validation of a job well done for everyone here who worked on the site!
