Salem, NH, November 8, 2006 – CommonPlaces e-Solutions has successfully carried New Hampshire based Sensatronics Environmental Sensing’s website into the automated age of the Internet. Sensatronics had been struggling with maintaining their website, which was HTML based, while in a time of tremendous business growth. They needed a way to update their ever growing catalog of products, services and resources without it consuming the time of their staff. CommonPlaces redesigned the layout and implemented a Content Management System (CMS) to allow them to update quickly and without constant phone calls to an offsite web developer. Not only does this save them time, but it saves them a good deal of money in the long run. CommonPlaces e-Solutions took the Sensatronic Website, which was HTML based, redesigned the layout and implemented a Content Management System (CMS). The CMS allows a person to change individual sections of a Website without coding HTML text. CommonPlaces set Sensatronics up with various sections for their different business interests, which keep their site well organized and easy for Sensatronics to update as frequently as needed. Since Content Management Systems do not allow for changes in the layout, CommonPlaces redesigned the Sensatronics site. To aid in the ease of use for site visitors and Sensatronic employees, CommonPlaces redesigned the site to have a modern clean design, then locked down that design within the CMS. Doing this makes it easy to change text and content, yet makes it impossible for the employee to accidentally delete key pieces of the pages design.
